Hashish (Hash)

Hashish or hash is a psychoactive drug made from the plant Cannabis sativa. Hashish is usually smoked in joints, pipes or can be also pressed between two hot knives. Adding hashish in some food is also common. Hashish contains much higher level of THC than marijuana. Its quality and strength can vary as well as its look /from light to dark brown/. Hashish is thought to have originated in the Pakistan/Afghanistan/Morocco. The name hashish comes from Arabic word and mean grass.

Producing hashish

Hash is made from trichomes /tetrahydrocannabinol-rich glandular hairs/ and cannabis flowers and leaves, which are sifted until only resinous powder remains. The powder is then compressed and heated. It melts and stick together and its formed into block. They come on the market in blocks of 100, 125, 150, 200 and 250 grams.

Effects after using hashish

Smoking or consuming hashish brings some sensations like: happiness, relaxation, hallucinations. Hashish is much stronger drug than marijuana. Smoking hashish brings high risk of lungs and throat diseases, therefore vaporizing hashish is safer. Users of hashish can developed a psychological addiction.
