Sandblasted Glass Bongs

Although our glassblowers don´t make sandblasted glass products, our online smoke shop offers few sandblasted pieces. These bongs are made of hard laboratory Simax glass, which is also very durable and heat-resistant. As the sandblasted bongs are not made by us, they can not be modify in any way! Unfortunately we can also not help you if you want to have any image sandblasted on our water bongs. However, we offer quite wide range so hopefully you´ll find a piece which will catch your eye.

Sandblasting technique

Sandblasting is an age-old process when the glass is given a frosted appearance. The grit is blasted with a sandblaster and an air compressor onto the glass. The longer you blast, the deeper parts are etched into the glass surface. The sandblasted glass is still translucent. There is plenty of different patterns and designs. The bong can be sandblasted only partly for example with stripes or have some images sandblasted on the tube part or water chamber with a stencil-aided. Thicker glass is much better for sandblasting images.

Application of sandblasting

Sandblasting glass has its place anywhere. It is used mainly in interior design. Sandblasted glass is mostly famous on the doors /shower doors and also interior or the front door/. Sandblasted doors can add elegance and beautiful character to the house. Sandblasted glass is also found on all different house decorations - vases, frames or cups and glass and surely on glass smoking products.
