Difference between classic and percolator bong

The main difference between a classic bong and the percolator bong is obviously the percolator which is added to the bong. The percolator breaks the smoke, allowing more filtration when it passes through the water so you can enjoy much pleasurable and smoother smoking. You can get smoother hit with a classic bong as well but only if the stem ends with a diffuser. The diffuser also breaks the smoke as the small holes at the end make lots of bubbles. If the bong is equipped with a percolator and a diffuser, the smoking is then super smooth.

What is a percolator?

A percolator is a special glass device inside the tube part and its main function is providing two water filtration cycles. That means that the smoke is cooled down even more. The second function is to trap certain components contained within the smoke.
